Kingfisher Ultra Beer Review - Premium Indian Lager

Kingfisher Ultra is a premium beer brand owned by United Breweries Group, one of the largest brewing companies in India. It was launched in 2009 as a response to the growing demand for premium beers in the Indian market. It remains immensely popular to this day and is a testament to the brand strength Kingfisher has.

Kingfisher Ultra is a lager beer that is widely available throughout India. It is brewed using imported barley and hops, as well as locally-sourced ingredients, to create a unique and refreshing taste that appeals to a broad range of beer drinkers. It’s wide availability is not surpising due to Kingfisher having a 50% market share in the Indian market.

The beer has a rich golden color and has a light, foamy head which dissapates quickly. Its aroma is characterized by a subtle malt sweetness and a hint of floral and citrus notes. Other notes of minerals, sweet grains, lemon and corn can found when drinking this popular Indian lager. On the palate, Kingfisher Ultra is crisp and clean, with a smooth and refreshing taste that is well-balanced between the sweetness of the malt and the bitterness of the hops. The finish is clean and dry, making it an ideal beer to enjoy on a hot day or to pair with spicy food. This is similar to other famous Kingfisher brands such as Kingfisher premium and kingfisher Storm.

The branding on the bottle also gives this beer some prestige, with the labels all gold or gold trimmed. Just like every other Kingfisher beer, the bottle is proudly emblazoned wih the famous Kingfisher logo.
